Camp Fido Week 1 – Ages 8-10

Camp Fido is a week-long summer camp for kids to come to the LIFE House For Animals shelter to learn more about:

– What an animal shelter does.
– The importance of animal shelters.
– Responsible pet ownership.
– Taking care of our shelter dogs and cats while they are guests at the shelter.
– Learning about pet therapy dogs.
– Learning from veterinarians.
– Engaging in arts and crafts.

The first week of Camp Fido is June 16-20 from 8 AM – 12noon each day and is for kids 8-10 years old.

Week 1 – Open to kids 8-10!!!

Drop-off begins at 7:45 AM. The location is the shelter at 14 Fido Ct, Frankfort, KY 40601.

One week of camp costs $175 per camper (or $125 for former adopters or volunteers). The camp is led by Wendy Ridenour, an educator and a trained LIFE House For Animals volunteer, along with other trained volunteers. Camp registration includes a t-shirt.
