Our adoption process allows us to better understand your wants and needs and helps to recommend pets best suited to your family’s lifestyle. As an animal rescue supported by dedicated volunteers, we commit to process applications in a timely manner.
Our goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the animal's background and your family's needs. Every animal is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a furever-home match. We are very careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right animal with the right adoptive home because we want this to be the pet's permanent home.

We will review your application upon receipt. We will contact your listed Veterinarian as well as your references. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity. Please check your spam mail closely if you have submitted an application, as parts of the process are automated.
Once your application is approved, a LIFE House for Animals volunteer will contact you to schedule an appointment to come to LIFE House and visit with our guests.
