This sweet, pretty girl is Matilda. She was born around 2015 based on her vet exam. Matilda was abandoned and was being fed by some good Samaritans. They wanted to take her in themselves, but while Matilda was very amiable, their young adult male cat did not get along with her and they had very limited space in their apartment to accommodate the two cats.
Matilda is quiet and sweet-natured. She likes people and is low maintenance. At Life House, she is content to sit somewhere comfortable in her cat room and wait for someone to come visit her. She is loving; she likes to be petted, and she will give you kisses, licking you seemingly endlessly. The couple who fostered her before she came to Life House also says she likes to watch TV; she is easygoing and relaxed, content to sit with you and rest. She would make a great companion.
Matilda is friendly and not aggressive with other cats. She would do well in a home as an only cat or with others.
