I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Joy 2756

We're happy to tell you that Joy 2756 has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Cats Page to see the pups currently available.

This tubby tabby is Joy.  She was born in 2016 and adopted from LIFE House in that same year.  She has led quite an adventurous life, and we only know a few of the details.  Right before the frigid weather in December of 2022, she was brought to the Franklin County Humane Society as a stray by a gentleman who lives in Bon Air who said she would come to their house for handouts.  The Humane Society checked her for a chip and discovered she was originally a LIFE House kitty.  We contacted the original adopters.  They said she had gone missing in 2018! The original owners were not in a position to take Joy back, so LIFE House went and got Joy.  We still do not know how she got from her original home off of Georgetown Road to Bon Air subdivision.                                                                    Joy is not a small kitty.  The best we can figure out is that she must have made the rounds in the subdivision she was hanging out in and getting fed by several families because she certainly has not missed many meals.  She is very good at making friends with people.  Joy does not seem to miss the great outdoors and would love to have a forever home where she can retire from her vagabond days.
