This beautiful girl is Dabney. We also call her camo kitty because she looks like she has on camouflage! Dabney could win the award for Miss Congeniality at Lifehouse. Dabney is friendly and social and loves everyone. She does well with most cats and is tolerant of dogs that are not cat aggressive. Dabney was born in 2016. and was adopted from Lifehouse as a kitten. Dabney's previous owner was facing health and financial issues of their own and did not feel that they were in a position to afford the care that Dabney required when Dabney developed a bladder stone. Since coming back to Lifehouse, Dabney has had surgery, is recovered and is on a special dietary food to help prevent recurrence of bladder stones. Dabney will need to remain on her special diet for the rest of her life. Although there are no guarantees, the vet says that by continuing the special diet, there is a good chance she will not have a recurrence of bladder stones.
