This pretty torti girl is Petunia. She was born around 2020. Life has not always been kind to Petunia. In late summer of 2025, LIFE House received a call about a "feral" momma cat(now known as Petunia) and 4 newborn kittens living under some pallets outside of Tractor Supply. We encouraged Tractor Supply staff to start feeding momma so she would begin to trust people enough so the feline family could be captured and brought to LIFE House. After several weeks and much effort, we managed to do just that. The kittens thrived while in foster care and were quickly adopted. As it turned out, Petunia was not feral; she just needed to feel safe and learn to trust people again. She clearly had been someone's cat at some point and she was likely Petunia is a sweet, quiet cat who loves attention from people. While she tends to keep to herself, she gets along with other cats in her room. Petunia's kittens got their chance for a forever home, now it is Petunia's turn.
