We are proud partners in Hill’s Food Shelter & Love program which allows us to feed a consistent, high-quality diet to all our pets through all life stages. This assures an excellent source of nutrition without abrupt diet changes. We are even able to provide small starter bags to go home with each adopter. Because of this generous partnership, our shelter food costs are approximately $365/month.
When we receive animals in need of a medical procedure, diagnostics, surgery, or treatment, we never let the expense dictate our decision to provide for its care. There are even times that we make the choice to seek emergency veterinary services, just like our adopters. Through the generosity of supporters, donations can be made to the Second Chance Fund to cover these unexpected expenses.
Keeping the shelter environment inviting, interesting, and comforting to our cats and dogs is one of our top priorities. Investing in the right equipment, furnishings, toys, and activities makes their day-to-day life much more pleasurable and enhances their adoptable manners.
