Yasha is a stray that I picked up 4 days ago. She is good with all of my children, ages ranging from between 2-12. You can tell she has some puppy still in her by her playfulness. She went to the vet 3 days ago, and is being treated with Prednisone and an antibiotic for what was a bare spot on her side that was guessed to be an old wound, and a "hot spot" on the top of her left hip. She doesn't listen to commands. She loves people and kids. She does chase 2 of our cats who run from her but our third cat has put her in her place and Yasha respects her. Yasha does want to be the dominant dog, and is over our two in tact males but we have created limited contact with our non-spayed female because Yasha is aggressive towards her but I think that with work she would become fine with all dogs.
