I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Shelley 5315

We're happy to tell you that Shelley 5315 has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

This five-month-old gal wonders why she is still here when her siblings have all been adopted! Shelley is a Shepherd/Anatolian Mix, aka she will be one loyal Queen Bee! She has such a calm demeanor for a five month old pup.

Anatolian Shepherds originate from Turkey where they served as livestock guards. They first came to America prior to WWII as part of the very secret Operation Woof Woof (ok, we made that up). They did however come to America because the Department of Agriculture wanted to find a good breed to guard sheep for farmers across the country. The idea was abandoned because of the War. Today, Anatolan Shepherds guard hundreds of couches for American families across the states. Do you have a couch or recliner in need of security? This large lady will be a great couch guard, but also needs socialization and training. Like any large dog both are very important for their future!

Our adoption fee of $80 helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.

Our adoption always includes:

Basic health and wellness check by trained vet staff
Spay/Neuter
Microchip with registration
Up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies vaccine)
Deworming, heartworm prevention and flea control
Basic Groom/Bath
Feline leukemia/FIV Combo test
Heartworm test
Post Adoption Benefits:
Complementary veterinary wellness exam from AllPets Veterinary Clinic
30-day free pet insurance policy from Trupanion
30-day subscription to DOGtv
