Rufus was found malnourished and with signs of prior abuse about 4 years ago and looked to be just under a year at that time. We named him Rufus cause it rhymes with dufus cause he's playful and funny. Has been around newborns and deals with about 5 kids my wife watches every day. Has also been around an older dog for about 2 years until it passed. He's healthy and fun. Loves playing fetch with frisbees and cuddling in the morning. He has some anxiety issues that has lead to him having some fear aggression when he can't avoid contact. However, I fully believe a more experienced trainer could help him. He's been trained with sit, drop, stay, and follow to the best of my ability, however I am just not experienced enough to help him how he needs nor can afford someone to teach me. Please help me save a dog who has a lot of love and life in him. He just needs a home with someone who knows how to train him properly.
