Little Lucy is a very sweet gal who is special to our dog volunteers. She is 11 years old and weighs around 15 pounds. Lucy recently had surgery to remove a large mammary tumor, but is recovering very well! She really is a little gem who just wants a human to love and cuddle.
Our adoption fee of $80 helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.
