Lucy is a brown nosed white faced Teacup Red Panda. She was let go from the National Zoo because her cuteness was causing line backups and blocking visitors to the Giant Panda exhibit. She specifically asked to be relocated to a small town so she could enjoy a less stressful life.
Our adoption fee of $80 helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.
