Leo is a handsome and affectionate guy--He always greets us at the door with an enthusiastic tail wag, and he loves attention (especially neck scratches)! He is perfectly potty-trained and knows simple commands, such as "place", "wait", "sit", and "no" and "down". Leo is wonderful with kids. He is energetic, but generally very well-mannered at home.
Leo is anxious around other dogs. He has not bitten, but has displayed other reactive behaviors (e.g., barking, charging, growling). He has improved since he began working with a trainer but still becomes distressed when he encounters unfamiliar dogs.
Leo will flourish in a home that has some space to run where he would have few encounters with unfamiliar dogs. When in his comfort zone, Leo is a dream dog!
