Jenny came to us at 11 weeks old as one of the beagle rescued from the Envigo Breeding Facility in VA. She was adopted through KHS.
We have owned beagles on and off for 30 years and we were comfortable taking her in. She is eager to learn, playful, curious, loves long walks and spends alot of time in our fenced in backyard every day. She loves her cozy cage but sleeps in bed with me at night. Takes one big long afternoon nap. Over the last 6 months she has become increasing territorial or protective over my husband and me, lunging and barking and sometimes biting a person who physically comes close to us or near us, in the house or in the yard. We have consulted her vet and several trainers but we think that we are not a good fit for Jenny anymore and she deserves an owner who can provide her lots of opportunities to explore the outdoors, focus on training and become the best puppy she can possibly be. She deserves a great life!
