Ivy is a loving dog that has been sheltered in one home all her life. I have brought her in and fostered her for over two months now I got all of her vaccinations and got her spayed and doctored her back to health. She is a sweet girl that deserves to have a forever home. She has been lease trained. I’ve done that since I brought her to my house she does not have to have walks or anything like that. A backyard would make her happy. She is mainly a inside dog. She likes the inside better than outside I think. She does not get along with female dogs, but she seems to do pretty good with my little Aussie doodle, but he is so gentle and sweet anyone could get along with him. She would do well in a home with just people, especially probably an older person or maybe just a single person or even a couple. I only took her in because she was left in an empty home and I did not want her to go immediately to the Lexington Humane Society. I know they would probably put her down due to her age. She is 6 1/half years old and very healthy. She still has plenty of energy, but she’s not extremely energetic. She does not jump on people. A very well-behaved dog she is I have spoiled her since she came to my house. I made my dog food so she really does love beef, chicken, chicken livers, beef livers, mixed with vegetables. She is on science diet dog food right now and seems to like it a little, but not as much as the goodies .She does eat some treats, but not a lot. if you could please help me to find her a home or someone else that could foster her that would be great.I am 73 years old and work full-time and I have to keep my dog separated from her except for the boy dog from time to time gets to play with her. And I feel sorry for her. It just makes me sad. I cannot bring her in and love on her as much as I would like to and spend time with her. I know there’s someone out there that can do that. thanks
