Described as GR, I believe he may have some Great Pyrenees as well. He was apparently in an abusive situation with a male owner till 4 months. He was rescued by a family with multiple dogs who said the other dogs were aggressive to him and that he was totally submissive and wouldn't fight back. They felt he was at risk and wanted urgent placement. I agreed to give take him understanding he was a submissive Golden Retriever. He gets along with all people he has met which is children age 6 and up. I haven't seen him with any younger ones. He got along with my 5 yr old Golden but has been assertive with my 30 lb mixed breed since arriving almost 2 weeks ago. This has escalated despite working on training to 2 attacks in less than 24 hours. He is not neutered yet. He is well house trained apart from chewing the bottom of the cabinet this morning. I think that is because he was separated from the other dog and myself and bored.
