Frank has finished his vetting and is ready to meet you! He is healthy and happy and ready to grow (a whole bunch!) with you. At his Rabies vaccination, (2/13) the vet said he looked to be 13 weeks old, and 27 pounds.
1/27 Both Puppies are eating well and feeling much better! They still have a ways to go to get up to their best weight.
1/20 Frank is back home, looking a little thin, but happy to be back where he will receive lots of treats and love from our volunteers who will help him get back to 100%. 1/11 Frank is from a litter of puppies that were being given away. We were able to take two. He is a happy pup that is going to be huge! Wednesday (1/11) evening, he started to slow down. Like his brother Jesse, the vet found him Parvovirus positive and began treatment. Parvo is a potentially fatal disease. The survival rate of dogs treated by a veterinarian is 68 to 92 percent, and most puppies that survive the first three-to-four days completely recover.
