Flash loves to give hugs and is a handsome guy who is not a fan of other male dogs (competition gets complicated when you’re THIS good looking). Flash is the real deal, but don’t call him a hero because it might make him blush. He literally saved another dog’s life by being a blood donor after the other dog was hit by a car. Since that time Flash has decided he wants to live a civilized life, in a home with loving humans. Although he’s above medium size, weighing around 60 pounds, he prefers to be in a house and not in a farm environment. Previous foster homes and our friends at Tin Woof Inn agree he’s a wonderful guy who does well on leash, is social, and rides well in cars. He’s also a volunteer favorite, especially with the ladies. Our adoption fee helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.
