Denali is a Shepherd/Anatolian Mix who is named after a mountain for a reason! This guy is serious about his Flintstone chewable vitamins and pounds protein shakes like a beast. Let us know if you want to meet him because we will have to shoot him a text to get him out of Crossfit or power lifting at Gold's. This big guy will be a great couch guard, but also needs socialization and training. Like any large dog both are very important for their future!
Anatolian Shepherds originate from Turkey where they served as livestock guards. They first came to America prior to WWII as part of the very secret Operation Woof Woof (ok, we made that up). They did however come to America because the Department of Agriculture wanted to find a good breed to guard sheep for farmers across the country. The idea was abandoned because of the War. Today, Anatolian Shepherds guard hundreds of couches for American families across the states. Do you have a couch or recliner in need of security?
Our adoption fee of $80 helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars.
