Petra showed up on our property last June, we were convinced by the local humane society to keep her here and attempt to rehome her. We had her spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, HW prevention, and took her through two training courses (she is a canine good citizen). There is no interest from anyone local in rehoming her. We live on a lot in town, no fencing, no room to run. We also do not have time to devote to her. Consequently, she is failing to thrive in her 10x10 kennel. She is NOT aggressive, she is a big friendly goofy dog. She has never been inside. I cannot do another winter of keeping a creature outdoors. I am sending this SOS to all shelters and groups within a large radius, hoping someone can help.
