If you are interested in a particular animal then please call or email us, ContactUs@lifehouse4animals.org. The pet's Adoption Counselor will be notified and will in turn contact you.  They will set up an appointment to meet with you, allowing you to visit with the animal and fill out an adoption application if so desired. To save time you can submit an application by email prior to the appointment or bring the completed form with you.

The adoption fee for all of our guests, regardless of breed or age, is $49.95.  Our guests are neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.  We test  for common diseases as well.

Adoption Guidelines:  To insure that we place our guests in loving and safe environments, we have established the following criteria:

• Fenced Yards - As a general rule, we prefer any dog that will be larger than 10 pounds as an adult be placed in a home that has a fenced in yard. There are exceptions to this rule, depending on the situation and the particular dog. Exceptions are always at the discretion of a L.I.F.E. House Adoption Counselor.
   
• References - We do require 3 personal references, as well as a vet reference. You can request the list of questions that references will be asked prior to us contacting them.
   
• No Same Day Adoptions - This allows our Adoption Counselor time to process the applications and check references.
